A pleasant surprise
Came home today from a trip with a package from Pumpkin Hollow waiting for me. Never owned any of their stuff so I am super stoked and these mini jackos are awesome!
I went to Michigan with my wife for a race and visit friends. While we stayed at her friends house, she asked if I could do something cool with their very limited halloween decorations. I had one night to make something out of their "Bag 'o bones" from Meijer's and an old bed sheet.
I came up with this:
Styrafoam bones, twigs, and duct tape. Cheap and creepy. Not a lot of decorations in their hood, mostly happy stuff so this should shake things up a bit. Now That I am back home, I gotta lot to do...

What? It's October 1st?!
It's been a while since I last posted. Sorry. Try fighting to use a laptop with teenagers who need it to do their homework. By the time they are done with it, it's past my bedtime. But I did manage to put a Colored bulb in the porch light today and decorate the front door. I'm trying not to go crazy with the budget this year. So I'm recycling some pirate corpses and trying something new this year. I'm excited. Yeah, I got a little panicky feeling in the back of my head (don't tell the my wife, I promised her I wouldn't freak out over Halloween, again) but I keep reminding myself to enjoy the ride.
