Halloween 2017

So I didn't have a lot of time this year to build new props for the haunt due to family needs and budget. I knew I had enough props from previous years to do a small haunt. It was kinda nice after a while not stressing about what I was going to do this year. The witch head was sitting in a skelly body The candy bowl was in the coffin at the feet. A lot of TOTs were hesitant to reach in to get candy. My fog machine I fixed worked great and the cool air and no breeze allowed it to hang low. The coffin was a big hit this year. There was a big turnout and I ran out of candy before 8pm. Another Successful Halloween!

Halloween skull Prop

Here's the final skull I made! Tho not fancy and accurate. I'm happy with it. Paperclay is fun to work with. Working in small sections that dry in a couple of hours made it easy when you have troublesome cats in the house. I could bring it in my car and work on it at lunch breaks without ruining previous sculpting unlike regular clay. I still want to make a mold of it so I can have copies and plaster and resin.

Skull project

So for a while now, I wanted to sculpt my own skull. Something I can use for my haunt. I'm not going for ultra realistic, but a more stylized version. Kinda like a Disney Randottie skull. That way if it sucks I can just say "it's art!"
